Back in February, the world got a fair to midland glimpse of the upcoming “Aladdin” film with this “SPECIAL LOOK” clip (seen by clicking the text). Today, with a little over two months to go before the release of the film, those fine folks at Disney have released the first Official Trailer for the film. Let’s take look down below. Afterwards you can peruse the premise, casting and see the colorful Theatrical Poster which is already at hand to enjoy.
Storyline: A live-action retelling of the 1992 Disney film of the same name.
The Cast:
Will Smith as Genie
Mena Massoud as Aladdin
Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine
Marwan Kenzari as Jafar
Navid Negahban as The Sultan
Nasim Pedrad as Dalia
Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders
Numan Acar as Hakim
Frank Welker as the Cave of Wonders
Piercing Ken Thoughts: I have to say that this was pretty darned good and I absolutely loved the original animated film. The costumes and scenery look to be on point and Smith seems great as The Genie. I am sure that he is going to do the late great Robin Williams some justice. So it’s far too early for me to consider seeing this in the theaters and since I don’t have kids of my own I will likely wait until it airs on one of the services I get. What about you fine readers? Did you like this trailer and are you excited for the film? Chime in down below as its always nice to know you are out there and seeing this stuff. Ciao for now.
