Any review that is done for the website be it music, video, convention, concert or trade show. The sky is the limit and all are found under one section.
You probably remember him from his appearance on the “America’s Got Talent” series if you’re a regular viewer of that program. If you’re not, he was a finalist on Season 11 and though he didn’t win out in the end he was certainly among the more memorable finalists in a group of very strong ones. Now the enigmatic performer is coming to Broadway with a one-night only performance at the Palladium Times Square (which the Metalheads I write for regularly will remember as the Playstation, Best Buy and Nokia Theatre). “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” were able to participate in a special press conference about this show at the brand-new Museum of Broadway. Media was encouraged to record and post the conference so please enjoy this down below.
Down below you’ll find a group of photos from the event. I was doing double snapping pics and recording the video.
Last week, “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” attended the 2023 edition of the International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York. This particular trade show is aimed at both education of foodservice professionals and helping them network with others in their industry. There are also plenty of vendors who are hoping to find their products being made available to the consumer. Down below you’ll find some of the vendors we stopped at to sample their wares and hope our readers look more into them if this is their own business model.
The Crunch Factory offers up my kind of snack. This is the kind of stuff that I usually like to nosh on if I am sitting in the bar with friends and while I don’t drink anymore, I do still eat at these gatherings.
Hello my Friends and welcome back to some trade show adventuring. As we’ve tweeted about already, “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” were attending the NY NOW Winter Market which had taken over the main floor of the Javits Center but upstairs in the River Pavilion was the Curve New York show which is the place for shop owners to find the latest and greatest in intimate apparel and sleepwear.
Back in 2020, the sun was set on the long-standing travel show known as The New York Times Travel Show and we had attended a few times for the website before it ended. It was without question that there was a void left in those who manage to travel and now just like a phoenix a brand-new show was debuting with the New York International Travel Show. According to press releases, this show serves as the successor to the previous one.
I was fortunate to arrive just in time for the ribbon cutting on the new show and that was cool. A video was secured as well which you can enjoy once the photo rundown completes.
Now it was time to explore.
My first exploration was going to be the New York section. It’s a far bigger place than you realize after all and I’d sure love to see more of it when time and financials permit.
They had a helicopter from FLYNYON on display. The rotors were not on the top which I guess was for safety concerns. I’ve only ever been in a helicopter once and that was a quick ride in Myrtle Beach. I liked it but I am not sure I would do that again. Maybe for a video which I didn’t do that first time around.
Like many trade shows, in addition to the conventional fare there were other vendors present. You can see their names and look them up later if what’s presented in the photo interests you at all.
We met the founder of an app called NAVI SAVI in Sally Bunnell. To make sure all of you know the scoop on this product a short video was recorded with her. That too can be seen at the close. Be patient, you’ll be there soon enough.
The folks at MSC Cruises had a massive table of awesome giveaways. There were hats, sundry items for travel and bags.
In all my years as a New York resident, I do not recall ever owning an “I Love NY” button. Until today that is.
I’ll wrap up the photos with the New York section since its familiar to me.
So there you have it. A little shorter than I usually like to do but I had a hectic schedule coming up so I could only come on this one day. Down below you’ll find a few of the videos that I posted on our continually growing Official Piercing Ken YouTube Channel. This Channel is only now two years old despite the website being more than ten years its senior so its super important for those hitting the website articles up to come and help that YouTube Channel grow. I’m going to try and use it a lot more when it comes to the trade shows. So overall I had a good time at this show and felt that I engaged a little more with the exhibitors than I managed to do at the other show I attended earlier in the year. That was more based on timing than anything else since the show was set up as meetings on the first day and expo on the other days. I had to work on the other days so couldn’t absorb much but I digress. If you are someone that travels a lot or hopes to, these are worth attending. They aren’t too pricy and there are lots of deals to be found.
Hey there theatregoers and welcome to my second installment from the 2022 edition of “BroadwayCon”. As mentioned, this is a convention that celebrates and specializes in all things Broadway and I guess you can consider this the Comic Con of Broadway Theatre. Today I’m continuing along with the rest of the photos shot on the first and second days. As you read this the event is on its third and final day but we are unable to return based on other agenda items. Let’s start off by showcasing the Rediscover Handbags products. Really nice stuff.
