The Black Keys Announce “31” Date North American Tour

The Independent Rock Duo The Black Keys have just confirmed an expansive tour and if you’re a fan of the guys you are going to want to read this press release that we received not too long ago here at the Media Command HQ. Take a look.

The Press Release:
This morning, The Black Keys confirm their extensive, thirty-one-date arena tour of North America. The “Let’s Rock” Tour will hit cities including Chicago, Nashville, New York, Los Angeles, and Austin (full dates below). Special guests Modest Mouse will provide support on all dates, and Shannon & The Clams, *repeat repeat, and Jessy Wilson will each open select shows on the tour. Tickets for all dates go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, March 22 at 10 AM local time here.

The 31-city outing will kick off September 23 in Denver, CO and will make stops in Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, Austin, Los Angeles and more before wrapping November 24 in Vancouver, BC.

To ensure tickets get in to the hands of fans and not scalpers or bots, the tour has partnered with Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan® platform. Fans can register now through Sunday, March 17 at 10pm EST HERE for the Verified Fan presale. Registered fans who receive a code will have access to purchase tickets before the general public on Tuesday, March 19 at 10am local time through Thursday, March 21 at 10pm local time.

Judah & The Lion Announce “Pep Talks Worldwide” Tour

Judah & the Lion have announced the Pep Talks Worldwide Tour – their biggest headlining tour yet – in support of their new album Pep Talks, due out May 3rd via Cletus the Van/Caroline. Produced in part by Live Nation, the North American leg of the tour kicks off on August 10th in Kansas City and will include their biggest hometown play yet at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater on August 24th before continuing to most major markets through mid-November. Pre-sales begin tomorrow, March 5th and general on-sale begins on Friday, March 8th at 10am local time. VIP packages, including a meet & greet and exclusive tour poster, will be available beginning Tuesday, March 5th. Citi is the official presale credit card for the tour. As such, Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets beginning Tuesday, March 5th at 10 AM local time until Thursday, March 7th at 10 PM local time through Citi’s Private Pass program. Piercing Ken Thoughts: This isn’t the kind of festival that we normally go to but I did have some interest when Guns N Roses had played. At the end of the day I couldn’t work it out to do that thing that I do and the weather was absolutely crappy according to the folks that did attend. So I will be taking a pass on this of course but wonder what you more open minded readers might think about it. As our brand-new 2019 year gets underway, I wanted to add once more that I hope that this will be a good one for you. It’s important to me that our readers are doing alright as often as possible. So now its time to get back into business and I already foresee this as being a productive year. I’ve revamped a few of the categories and merged some others as I’ve noted in other posts and with our covering so much music over on PiercingMetal.com, the notion of supporting more tour announcements that don’t fit there on this website commences for 2019 with the recent reveal of the full lineup for this years Coachella Music Festival.
