BroadwayCon Reveals Star-Studded Lineup For Upcoming In-Person Convention

BroadwayCon, the premiere fan convention for all things Broadway, today announced the programming lineup, featuring performances and appearances from some of Broadway’s biggest shows and influential names in theater. Taking place, July 8-10, 2022 at the Manhattan Center & The New Yorker Hotel, this year’s BroadwayCon marks the convention’s first in-person gathering in two years, bringing theater fans closer than ever to some of Broadway’s newest and most exciting shows.

This year’s lineup features a star-studded slate of interactive Q&As, live performances, sing-along sessions and more from hit Broadway shows such as A Strange Loop, POTUS, CHICAGO, Dear Evan Hansen, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Six, Disney Princess – The Concert, Beetlejuice, among others.

“The Chronicles Of Piercing Ken” Celebrates 12th Anniversary (2010-2022)

Greetings friends and I hope you are having a “Happy Sunday” so far since it’s only just beginning. The weather forecast is for “HOT” but oddly not as sweltering as yesterday was but if you do head out into the outside for any reason maybe bring a bottle of water with you and stick to the shady areas. So with that being said you should know that I don’t do these side posts to give you a weather forecast and I am here instead to share some cool news about this being the 12th Anniversary of “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” Lifestyle Blog. As many of you know it simply as “Piercing Ken” based on its social media profiles. So here we are…still publishing on a pretty regular basis and with a pandemic not quite completely in our rear view mirror as of yet. Mind you its much different than it was during 2021 and 2020 but its still here so please be cautious. Now a little about twelve years, let’s recap a bit.

The Broadway League Extends Broadway’s Mask Policy To June 30th

The Broadway League announced today that the owners and operators of all 41 Broadway theatres in New York City will extend the current mask requirement for audiences through at least June 30, 2022.

BroadwayCon Updates Health and Safety Protocols For 2022 Event (a/o May)

The Press Release:
In accordance with current guidelines for the BroadwayCon performance venues, all those in attendance at BroadwayCon 2022 including, but not limited to, ticketed attendees, special guests, presenters, vendors, press, and staff, who are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccination will be required to be fully vaccinated by July 8, 2022 and to show proof of vaccination with a vaccine approved by the FDA or WHO (including emergency use authorization) to attend BroadwayCon in person. This includes children between the ages of 5 and 11 years. Fully vaccinated is defined as at least 14 days after receiving the final vaccine in a one- or two-shot protocol. Attendees will be required to wear masks required to wear masks inside all BroadwayCon venue spaces.
