Earlier in the month, “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” was once again in attendance for the Curve New York Winter Showcase and as I’ve mentioned this is the trade show that focuses on intimates like lingerie and also showcases swimwear and assorted accessories. The show runs in tandem with the NY NOW show and it takes place in Javits Centers River Pavilion. As noted, the general public is not permitted at such an event, so I look to bring the audience into the mix with me and feel like we are exploring it together. Continuing with the Exhibitor Interviews that I began in the previous post I am bringing you the last installment. Though the videos are all resident on the Official Piercing Ken YouTube Channel, I’ve collected them into posts like this to add to the website content. Talking To “Like A Kitten” at Curve New York’s 2024 Winter Showcase
Earlier in the month, “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” was on point for the Curve New York Winter Showcase, and this is a trade show that has been attended a few times already. This is the trade show that focuses on the latest and greatest lingerie designers along with some swimwear and assorted accessories. The show runs at the same time as the NY NOW which I also explored in great detail but they are totally unrelated events. Curve New York takes place in the River Pavilion section of the Javits Center and I like the way its set up there. It’s a sizable space and since this is a trade show, the general public is not permitted at the event. Since that’s the case I like to bring our audience into the mix in the best way possible and that’s by social media feeds, website posts and videos for the Official YouTube Channel of Piercing Ken. During this year’s Winter Show, I did some exhibitor interviews and while the videos are all resident on the aforementioned channel, I’ve also collected them in posts like this to add to the website content. We’ve attended for this outlet a few times and its the trade show that focuses on the latest and greatest lingerie designers along with some swimwear and assorted accessories. Thought it runs in tandem with the NY NOW Gifting Show they are not connected at all but I think buyers at Curve New York are welcome to explore NY NOW which makes a whole lot of business sense. They hold this trade show up in the River Pavilion portion of the Javits Center and they take over the whole space. Since the general public is not permitted at such an event I try to bring as many people with me into the happening via our social media feeds and of course the website. For this seasons show I was able to do some Exhibitor Interviews for our Official Piercing Ken YouTube Channel and while the content is primarily resident there I have compiled them into website posts to expand their reach on Google. This season’s adventuring at Curve New York continues along with “Undergoodies”.

The Chronicles of Piercing Ken was once again a part of the Pop Culture Media that was covering the annual BroadwayCon convention which was being held at the New York Marriott Marquis hotel in Times Square. Having attended this convention since 2018, it’s an event that I look forward to because in some sense its like a Broadway themed comic convention. There are numerous panels, performances and many of the attendees arrive in theatrical performance themed cosplay. In addition to all these things there is also a wonderful marketplace to explore. I spoke to a number of them for content on the YouTube Channel and in order to have these videos add to the coverage base on the website a few have been collected here for your viewing pleasure.
