Hey there my fine-feathered theatre loving friends, I am here to share the news that I am in attendance at the BroadwayCon convention which is being held at both The Manhattan Center and the New Yorker Hotel for the next few days. It’s their return to IRL events since the pandemic and one of the conditions is that you must be masked the entire time that you are inside but that’s not what I am here to share with you. I’m here to let you know that the Official Instagram for the Piercing Ken website will be taken over for the next few days as I share some of the sights and scenes with our audience on this social media platform. As you might already know if you are following the PiercingMetal Instagram, I love to share images from conventions like this because of the interesting cosplayers and vendors that I meet. Generally speaking, the attendees of the BroadwayCon get all decked out in Theatrical Cosplay. With so many current and past productions of legend to choose from its a really good time to see the hard work and skill manifest itself right before your eyes. Before I continue a little more I am going to ask that you click HERE as that will open up a new browser tag with any of the content that’s been dedicated to this years BroadwayCon. In addition to the social media posting like this I will be doing some exhibitor chats and taking lots of other photos as I can get them. The first image is down below and you should easily be able to scroll through them from there. I only ask that you help the visuals along by clicking the heart and maybe even commenting in if you like what you see. I’ve always tried to comment back or give a like to the submissions.
Now I should point out that there aren’t as many photos uploaded to the Piercing Ken profile as you might see being done for PiercingMetal and that is simply because I tend to take a lot more pictures for that brand and with events like New York Comic Con and Anime NYC among others, its easy to surpass this profile with that one. I should point out that PiercingMetal has posted its 10K photograph not too long ago and I discussed it on the website in a post that you can find by clicking HERE. I’ve actually been using Instagram since 2012 and while I don’t feel that it helps generate any proper website traffic it does extend the reach of the branded identity. Doing website post like this one will help in some modest amount and I am happy for that. If you’re not yet following the outlet on this social media network there is no time like the present because its quite entertaining if I can say so myself. There are no endless selfies of me or complaints about the woes of the world around me and just bright and colorful entertaining images and hopefully bringing the existence of special events to your attention and making you wish to attend as well. Your support is of vital importance because if you don’t follow and engage with us we might fall behind what sometimes amounts to being a lesser brand or from those big talking content creators who speak more than actually serving up what they are here for. I apologize for sounding salty I just have no time for fakers in the business stuff and with “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” having just celebrated it’s own 12th Anniversary of Online Existence I take some of the goings on a little more seriously. Now its back into the trenches of the BroadwayCon to see what else I can find. Perhaps I will go head to head with “The Phantom Of The Opera” which I think would be “Wicked”. I don’t expect to see any “Cats” but if I do at least I will be able to “Come from Away” with some “Company”. Okay that is a whole lot of bad punning with a theatrical spin. If you’ve been following along for any time already I thank you tremendously and if you see people who you know in the images please tag them in a comment so I can edit the photo as well. If you are still considering following along with me, I say please come on in and leave the entertainment to me. Now its time for me to take the stage. Lights!!!
