Artexpo New York Reveals 2025 Programming Schedule

New York, NY – March 27th, 2025: Redwood Art Group, the nation’s leader in exhibitions and event production, media, and marketing for the global art community, announces the schedule of programming for its highly anticipated four-day showcase, Artexpo New York 2025, taking place at Pier 36, located at 299 South Street in Manhattan, from Thursday, April 3 to Sunday, April 6. The annual fine art destination, now in its 48th year, will host more than 200 innovative exhibiting galleries, art publishers and dealers, and artists from around the globe across 70,000 square feet of convention space, showcasing original work of 1000+ artists that includes prints, paintings, drawings, sculptures, photography, ceramics, giclee, lithographs and glass works, among other contemporary and fine art. This year’s program features an extensive series of daily activities for attendees, that includes the Spotlight Program, a focused look at several cutting-edge galleries and artists chosen by the Redwood Art Group selection committee; Art Labs, a series of outstanding projects by leading galleries, art institutions, and art collectives within the fair; Meet The Artists and Live Demonstrations, presenting an interactive experience—allowing attendees to get up-close-and-personal with the artists, and Discoveries Collection – selections of artwork chosen by the Artexpo New York curatorial team that make up a group of amazing discoveries throughout the fair.

Hosting more than 15,000 avid art enthusiasts, including 2,000+ trade representatives every year, Artexpo New York is the largest international gathering of qualified trade buyers—including gallery owners and managers, art dealers, interior designers, publishers, architects, corporate art buyers, and art and framing retailers. Attendees will have an opportunity to browse thousands of innovative new works of art and enjoy specific programming. Avid art enthusiasts and industry leaders will return to enjoy [SOLO], highlighting established and independent emerging artists. This year’s Artexpo New York will also feature its annual lineup of programming within the Artexpo Pavilion and [SOLO] Pavilion. The Opening Night VIP Preview for Artexpo New York takes place on Thursday, April 3 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The fair continues for the public and trade on Friday, April 4 through Sunday, April 6, starting at 11:00 a.m. daily, with advance tickets priced at $30 for general admission.

Since its launch in 2016, the Spotlight Program has continued to be a highlight of Artexpo New York’s programming and events. This year’s recipients are bringing their cutting-edge talent to the forefront of the art world. The six Spotlight Program recipients for 2025 include Bill Hao (Booth 601), Haydn Lewis (Booth S314), Neelam Padte (Booth S300), Ariel Rodriquez (Booth S607), Pamela Galleguillos (Booth 312) and Mriya Gallery (Booth 607).

Meet The Artists and Live Demonstrations presents an interactive experience—allowing attendees to get up-close-and-personal with the exhibiting artistic talent who are at the height of their game, pushing boundaries with their creativity, and inspiring us with their newest collection and live art creations. This year’s Art Labs features a series of outstanding projects by leading galleries, art institutions, and art collectives presented on-site within the fair, and include: “Jason Perez Art Collective” by Jason Perez (Jason Perez Art Collective Lounge, Mezzanine level), Celebrating 30 Years at Artexpo New York with Sammoun Fine Art (Booth 215), “A Second Look” by K-Art Projects USA (Booth 109), Redwood Art Prize Contest (VIP Lounge), and Artexpo New York Digital Photo Contest (Voting Kiosks located in the Cafe). The Artexpo New York Discoveries Collection presents a selection of unique discoveries from this year’s artists and exhibitors, selected by the Artexpo New York curatorial team as its favorite pieces of art throughout the fair—each one priced at $1,000 and $3,000 or less.

Two exciting new additions have been made to the fair’s programming for 2025. The inaugural Redwood Art Prize Contest is a prestigious award celebrating artistic innovation and limitless creativity. With over $20,000 in prizes, this year’s debut of “Boundless” as the theme invited artists to push the boundaries of their craft, exploring new ideas and inspirations. The Redwood Art Prize is an international award open to artists of all disciplines, celebrating creative excellence across diverse art forms. Winners receive global recognition through our media platforms, with their work showcased online to an audience of artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts worldwide. Redwood’s Art Prize is designed as a dynamic platform designed to help artists connect, collaborate, and expand their reach. Through the Art Prize, winners and finalists gain access to a global network of buyers and collectors, institutional recognition, and valuable professional opportunities both nationally and internationally. The four winners will gain unparalleled exposure at Artexpo New York 2025, the world’s original fine art fair, connecting them with a global audience of collectors, galleries, and industry leaders. This year’s winners and their respective works are: Bret Neathery (“Blue Jean Eyes”), Gavin Hein (“Edge of Glory”), Linda Washburn Roberts (“Terraced Sunset”) and Rhea Diehl (“Howling Under a Burning Sky”).

With over $30,000 in prizes, the Artexpo New York 2025 Digital Photo Contest challenged photographers to capture the essence of creativity in an instant. Centered around the inaugural “Blink” theme, the contest invited artists to submit their most compelling images—those that reveal something extraordinary in a fleeting moment, a split-second, a flash of inspiration. The top entries will take center stage at Artexpo New York 2025, where attendees can view and vote for their favorites. Finalists’ photographs will be showcased on state-of-the-art digital displays, reaching a global audience at the world’s original fine art fair. Following Artexpo New York, all votes will be tabulated, and winners will be announced in each of the seven categories: Landscape, Architecture, Travel, Nature, Street, Wildlife, and People. One Best of Show winner will also be announced. Fair attendees can vote for their favorite contest entrants using the QR Code at the Voting Kiosks located in the Artexpo New York Café.

Collectors and gallery owners have been coming to Artexpo New York for 30 years, discovering and collecting Samir Sammoun’s work. A Sammoun painting executed 30 years ago still looks like a Sammoun and collectors continue to connect with him today. He attributes his successful career to his launch at Artexpo New York 1996, where he has continued to exhibit year-after-year.

Artists Carola Orieta Sperman and Alejandro Rauhut are pushing the boundaries of what’s expected and delivering work worthy of a second look.

• Carola Orieta Sperman’s Returning to Earthis a fusion of recycled and repurposed materials revealing an awareness invitation, bridging the worlds of artistry and environmental advocacy. The circular patterns, the tactile interplay of fibers and the rhythmic patterns of it’ s design mimic the regenerative cycles of nature. Returning to Earth invites us to reflect on conservation as an act of reverence, where waste become art, and art becomes a call to action.
• Each of Alejandro Rauhut’s Once Upon A Time — Mirror Mapsseries of artworks are imbued with a profound sense of introspection and reflection. Through physical, digital, interactive, and installation pieces, he challenges the viewer to question their own existence and explore their own inner journey. It is precisely this emotional and transcendental connection with the audience that makes his work powerful and relevant.

Artexpo New York celebrates its 48th year and kicks-off the Spring 2024 season of acclaimed art fairs in New York City.

A multi-day advance purchase ticket that includes access to the Opening Night VIP Preview and all other fair days (Thursday, April 3 to Sunday, April 6) is priced at $50.
