America’s largest dog extravaganza returns to the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City when The American Kennel Club (AKC®) brings its annual AKC Meet the Breeds® showcase back to NYC on January 28th and 29th, 2023. This family-friendly, educational canine spectacle gives dog lovers the unique opportunity to meet and play with hundreds of adorable dogs and puppies while learning about responsible pet ownership.
“We are thrilled to return to the Javits Center to host AKC Meet the Breeds after two years,” said AKC Executive Secretary Gina DiNardo.? “The Javits Center provides a unique and sizable space for us to create a one-of-a-kind experience, engage with the public, offer opportunities to learn from breed experts representing their clubs and dogs and see exciting demonstrations of canine athleticism.”

Piercing Ken Thoughts: Though I am primarily a cat person, this even does look like a lot of fun. There are so many beautiful dogs out there and some of my favorites are the huskies, daschund, terriers and quite a few more. This event runs around the same time as the New York Boat Show which I usually attend and there might even be a travel show that same weekend but I am not yet 100% sure since I haven’t seen any mailers. Are you a dog person at all? Does this sound like an event that you will look into attending? If I attend I will be sure to post about it on social media but we still have quite a bit of time left. Right now I am more focused on documenting the recent New York Comic Con on PiercingMetal and the upcoming Anime NYC convention as well.
