Last month, “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” was on point for the Curve New York Winter Showcase and at the time of this writing I can say that I’ve been to this one a couple of times over the recent years. It’s the trade show that focuses on intimate apparel, swim wear and sometimes even a wide gamut of accessories that make the most sense for these types of designs. It’s an interesting show and let’s us get more fashion themed posts and social media content up for your enjoyment. As I explored I decided to try and get some time with any exhibitors that felt like talking about their offerings and it was here that I met the founder of the “Bonks” brand, Ali Wigart. My videos reside on the Official YouTube Channel of Piercing Ken but have been added into posts like this one to expand the easily shareable website content with those who need to see it. So without any further adieu, here is the scoop on “Bonks”.

After talking to Ali, I definitely liked the idea of talking to the vendors because it would bring something different to the table. The downside was that I was not there as long as I would have liked based on my also being deep into the coverage of the NY NOW show which was taking place on the main level of Javits Center right below us. The Curve New York show was in the River Pavilion which I liked for the show. The last time I attended their show they were holding it at Spring Studios down on Houston Street. The limited time found me not getting any additional vendors but that wasn’t bad since I got to talk to the one and only Pearls Daily. She’s a burlesque superstar and she was modeling some fashions along with performing some of her routines. Luckily for me she was down to chat a little bit and now I share that fun conversation with you all. Ladies and Gentlemen, Pearls Daily!!!! (insert applause here).

That’s going to wrap up my time in video at the Winter Showcase for Curve New York. While I am super comfortable talking to people about the geek stuff for PiercingMetal, this was finding me more focused and totally serious to better help the vendors.
