Continuing along with my adventures from the recently attended “Sweet Suite”, which is the mega-toy preview event held by the fine folks over at The Toy Insider. I was among other select media and assorted influencers at a space called The Glass House. While some of my coverage was shared over on the PiercingMetal website, it seems like much more of it was settling over here on “The Chronicles”. Its a bit more work doing it like this but I don’t mind since each audience is a little bit different, This post brings the remaining Exhibitor Interviews from our YouTube Channel into the website in a compiled post to add to that coverage traction. First up are the folks from the Jumbo Group who were showcasing a newly revised edition of the classic strategy game “Stratego”.
Talking To The Jumbo Group About “Stratego” @ Toy Insider’s “Sweet Suite” 2024
Though I loved the original game, I don’t recall having owned my own copy. Back in those days the friends who go visit each other and some had these games and the others had those games. Fun times and simpler times for sure but I digress. This is a good one to investigate for family night. Now it was onto the table being presented by the folks over at Exploding Kittens and to say that they had brought a whole lot of weirdness with them would be a big understatement. I really enjoyed this reps overview.

The overall creativity of the folks from Exploding Kittens is awesome. These are really cute offerings and like I said, were super duper weird offerings as well. I thought the dice holder was a fun idea but I think my favorite was the fake swords game. It reminded me of the days that my friends and I would pummel each other with rolled up magazines. Don’t worry no one was really hurt during these days. Well, not too much at least but I digress. Onto our last exhibitor chat, Spin Master and their truly wonderful creations in “The Unicorn Academy”.
Talking To Spin Master @ Toy Insider’s “Sweet Suite” 2024
I liked this line and must admit that I was totally unaware about the Netflix series but that’s okay since its not really something I’d be focused on. What does appeal to me about the “Unicorn Academy” is the number of figures and unicorns since it inspires a bit of collecting. The diehard fan is going to want to secure them all and that will amount to better playtime for sure. When I was younger I used to collect all of the Mego figures and I had quite a collection of them but alas they didn’t withstand the sands of time. This post brings me to the end of my exhibitor interviews and as mentioned in the first part these videos are on the Official YouTube for Piercing Ken and you’d be doing us a big favor by subscribing and even leaving some topical comments on the things that reach you the most. Doing this helps raise awareness to our brand and with all the “influencer” types to contend with we surely need you. Thanks again to the Toy Insider for the invite and to the exhibitors who spoke to me. See you again soon. My next feature will likely be the unbagging of the goodies that were secured at the event.
