Walt Disney Pictures has a cool new animated adventure coming our way next year and its called “Raya and The Last Dragon”. While they called this clip a teaser, its actually longer than most official clips so let’s take a look down below. I’ve also added the premise, voice casting and some promotional artwork. Enjoy.
The Premise: Long ago, in the world of Kumandra, humans and dragons lived together in harmony. But when sinister monsters known as the Druun threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, those same monsters have returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya, and her pet pill bug companion Tuk Tuk, to track down the last dragon in order to finally stop the Druun for good. However, along her journey, she’ll learn that it’ll take more than dragon magic to save the world—it’s going to take trust as well.

Piercing Ken Thoughts: So while I’ve been pretty lax in getting to see the more family-oriented Disney flicks, its not been for lack of interest. It’s mostly based on my not having to rush to see them since I’ve no kids ordering me to get them into the cinema and I’ve had a boatload of the films and shows that are more up my alley. Sadly the pandemic has slowed down everyone’s cinema experience but that’s where we are right now. I smiled when I saw the promotional art citing “In Cinemas Soon” but I don’t think I will be going to one of those until there is a vaccine and as of this writing there isn’t one yet. This trailer was a lot of fun and brings me thoughts of both Indiana Jones and Lara Croft in some sense so I’d like to check it out. For all we know this will be on streaming faster than expected since all the theaters are closed. What did you readers think about this one? Did it spark your interest? Chime in down below in the comments section and I will see you next time.
