The other day I helped share a healthy amount of the schedule of the now in progress, first-ever BookExpo Online. As you all know by now, a gathering of this size in an event space like the Javits Center is impossible based on the continuing problems with the Coronavirus Pandemic. Both the traditional BookExpo and The Book Con were cancelled as physical happenings and turned into online affairs. HERE

Following in similar fashion, the weekend will find the aptly named BookConline being presented on their Official Facebook Page and I’ve embedded the full schedule that the media was sent for your consumption. Since its the weekend and you’re still not really supposed to do anything, get up nice and early with a fresh pot of coffee and sit in front of Facebook. It’s not like you weren’t going to do a lot of that anyway – At least with BookConline you can learn a thing of three.

Piercing Ken Thoughts: New readers might not know this but I’ve been hitting both of these conventions for a few years now and doing so for both “The Chronicles” and the PiercingMetal website since there is a little something for each side of my creative coin to enjoy at each one. Though I know this is for the best possible safety of everyone involved, I have to say that I will miss all of the familiar faces and getting to examine some of the new things that will be coming down the pike. Offhand I don’t see much that compels me to view but there are a few DC Comics things happening so perhaps those will be enjoyed and give me a break from the other website programming that I have locked in as my to do list this weekend.
