Greetings my sea-faring friends, we’ve arrived at the time of the year that the Progressive International New York Boat Show drops its anchor in NYC for an almost week long stay at the Javits Center. This would be my second year exploring this expo as a member of the media and the second time that I had attended since first coming with my parents so many, many years ago.
Oddly enough, based on the spacing in the registration form, I had to refer to “The Chronicles” as “The Piercing Ken Blog”. Truth be told its six of one and a half dozen of the other and sometimes to be simple I call it that anyway.
This stuff is for the kids that might be in attendance and I loved the idea of a whole bunch of activities being arranged for them. They had passports and little trinkets to enhance the fun and the learning. Some of the boating vendors also had things for the children to participate in which I liked to see very much. Nice work Progressive.
From above I observed this cool aircraft and was a bit surprised since we are at the Boat Show after all. This thing looked sleek for sure and it was time to get a closer look.
This is the Icon A5 Seaplane. It’s a beauty and easily hooked up to your yacht for adventures over land while you are enjoying the high seas.
I love hitting the Sea-Doo pavilion at the NY Boat Show since these crafts are sleek and can be so much fun to ride if you do that sort of thing. Let’s take a look at their presentation.
Sea-Doo always makes sure to have charming spokesmodels at their pavilion and I was glad to include them in my photo narrative. This is Carissa.
Here is the “Boat Of The Year”.
Alright readers, that’s going to bring me to the end of this chapter but don’t worry I have a whole bunch of additional photographs to share with you in another installment. In addition to the New York Boat Show, I will be exploring the New York Times Travel Show that’s happening on the other side of the Javits Center and I will likely be wandering their first thing tomorrow and going back and forth until I get all of the images that I need. You are welcome to join us on our Social Networks of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. I use these three networks extensively during my events before they make it to the full website and I’d hate for you to miss anything that might interest you. While you wait for the next exciting chapter of these events, you can click through to the websites linked below.
