From the looks of it, there doesn’t seem to be a shortage of live-action versions of the Walt Disney Pictures classic animations coming to light. We recently found “The Lion King” being a blockbuster of a success and “Mulan” is coming out soon as well along with a sequel to the original story of “Maleficent”. This latest one is a take on “Lady and The Tramp”, the timeless love story that involves two dogs and was an animated feature that would bring a tear to your eyes. The only difference about this from the others is that it will NOT open in theaters at all and be an exclusive to the upcoming Disney+ streaming service. Let’s look at the Official Trailer that was unveiled at D23 Expo.
The Premise: Lady and the Tramp is set to tell the story of “an upper-middle-class American cocker spaniel named Lady who meets a streetsmart, downtown stray Schnauzer called the Tramp, and the two embark on many romantic adventures including that iconic spaghetti smooch scene.”

Piercing Ken Thoughts: While I generally don’t get to see these types of films in the theaters based on the itinerary I have going on, the chances of my enjoying this are a little higher since I will be subscribing to the Disney+ service and it will be available for me to watch at a moment’s notice come November 12th. The trailer looks good and I always liked this story. The Disney films were a very important part of my childhood and they have remained so to this very day. What about you readers? Will you be looking into the Disney+ service when it becomes available? Chime in down below.
