Hello again my friends and welcome back to the presentation. When we last met I had paused in the middle of the visual presentations that were found in the Hollywood Wax Museum in Myrtle Beach, SC. As I said I was here visiting family and this was one of our touristy adventures. Let me get back to the photos, I will not be saying much as we go through the halls together. Here we go.
“Enterprise, three to beam up” – Three characters from the iconic Science Fiction series “Star Trek” were here as well. Dr. McCoy, Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock. They were standing on a transporter room visual with an empty space which I later learned was for you to pose on. My family and I did a few poses as the wandering went on but they prefer not to be in these musings.
I meant to put this one back where the other monsters were but oops. You get it now for good measure.
As with most of these sort of attractions you exit through the gift shop. I debated purchasing one of the little Oscars on display but decided against it.
That brings me to the very end of this little tourism adventure and I hope that you liked the whole thing. Overall I really enjoyed this visit but had some minor gripes about it. They had a lot of music personality on display but nothing Hard Rock and Metal. I think it would be awesome to find some Alice Cooper, Van Halen and the mighty KISS on display. Even Judas Priests Rob Halford would make a hell of a wax figure. Then there was NOTHING super-hero to enjoy. With these movies coming out in record fashion and breaking box office records we should have seen some Marvel Comics stuff and maybe even from the classic “Batman” show from the sixties or “Wonder Woman” and even Ferrigno’s “Incredible Hulk”. Oh well, if I find out that these kind of things are there for the visual I might return on my next southern visit. Stay tuned to this website for the next tourist spot that I will be presenting. I’m not going to give you any clues and will leave it as a surprise. See you then.
