Happy Halloween my dear readers, my hope is that you are getting ready for a fun day or just are prepared to dish out some treats to the costumed visitors that will come a calling as the day progresses.
Readers of this blog are already used to my now annual presentation of various spookified images that I have snagged around the shops of NYC for Halloween but I would like to take this time to welcome all of our new fans to this sort of thing. I’ll keep the chatter limited and instead let your eyes do their own captions. Let’s do this.
The American Greetings card and such store has a lot of cool themed things. I love the miniature Grim Reaper and think I will get him next time.
This next bunch of images came from the Duane Reade store that I regularly go to for assorted sundries.
I liked that Webster Hall was in the proper spirit for this particular holiday.
Now before we close up this fun little posting let me share a few images that I shot during these adventures that I felt were the most frightening of them all. Yes you guessed it….Christmas stuff already!!! Remember that I have been taking these images for a few weeks prior to my getting you this post and that is just ridiculous.
See you readers soon with more fun and hopefully interesting observations.
