A few months ago I was invited to an art presentation that was called “30 Rooms” and this was being held in an office building on what appeared to be an open floor for the Regus Business Center company. Organized and sponsored by Six Summit Gallery, the event would present thirty different artists in thirty different rooms. While I did not manage to see every single room, I did get to a bunch that I really enjoyed and shall be presenting each of those artists in their own posting to allow for better focused attention. Here is Seth Michael Calder:
I didn’t catch what the names of any of Seth’s works were called or what the premise of this particular showing was about so you will just have to enjoy the photos and dig deeper into his official website which I will provide at the close of this post.
This piece Seth had folks who were stopping by his room mark up. I was wandering around with Shane Davis (Michelle’s husband) and he did something for him on the piece. Oddly enough neither the “Ken” or “Metal” you see in this photo came care of me. Surprised?
Here is the artist himself in front of one of his works.
Here is Seth’s lady being all “Metal” for me. I asked since she had a leather jacket on. Profiling? I guess I did in some sense. It happens.
Here they are together. Nice people. Enjoyed meeting them.
So that is all we have for this chapter in the now being returned to and finalized “30 Rooms” series of posts. As I said in one of the first ones, I dropped in on about ten of the artists and decided to let each of them have a post of their own. Do a search or click the tag so you can enjoy the other ones.
