Hello my dear readers, I am back with another Awards Show nominations rundown and this time we are hitting the stand out stuff on the independent side with the annual Gotham Awards who just released their list of nominees. This is only the second time that I’ve shared The Gotham Awards here on “The Chronicles” and its awesome to add them to the mix of these sort of narratives. As mentioned last year (if you should remember), I don’t usually get to sit and enjoy too many indie features based on the itinerary I keep on the geek side but there are a few films from this past year that have piqued my interest. Piercing Ken Thoughts: So what did you think about this list? Are there any personal favorites in the list of nominated films and talent? One film that I need to see is the “Sound Of Metal” because its about a drummer and stars Riz Ahmed who I like very much in terms of the roles I’ve caught him in (“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” and “Venom”). Chime in down below and let me know what you think about it all and when they announce the winners I will return to this topic.
