Hello dear readers, I’m here to share with you the recent adventures that I had at the annual PDN Photoplus Expo which takes place at the Jacob Javits Center. It’s my fifth or so year in a row at this Expo and below you’ll find my visuals and some thoughts as I need to share them. Have fun.
Smartphone addicts will love this full SLR quality camera attachment from DxO One; Sadly its not available for Droid but when it is ready I might be interested in playing with it in the field.
There were a whole lot of drones on display at this years expo and so many more than I remembered there being the last time around. A lot of photographers and videographers are using these to enhance their works. I admit they look nice and seem fun but its a little pricey for me to investigate or need at the moment.
The Nikon pavilion usually has a few models posing but this year they only had a very colorful confection type display. It was super pretty but really left me quite hungry since it was cake, cookies and candy after all.
More drones for the purchasing if you like.
These were some affordable but non professional level drones. I entertained snagging one for the price they had to tool around the apartment and drive my cats crazy.
Kodak’s version of the Go-Pro camera. Did you know that my very first digital camera was a Kodak? It was and I’d sure like to give their version a go if they’re interested in my adventures. Come on Kodak what do you say?
I’ve been using the Think Tank Photo products for a few years on both my PiercingMetal and Piercing Ken adventures and its always great to see the newest stuff at Photoplus Expo. Take a look.
That brings me to the end of this years exploration. It’s really a fun event to wander if you are either a professional or a high impacting hobbyist and since the expo floor is free to explore you just need to take a half day from work to do it. Hope you enjoyed the visuals. Now please click into some of these fine providers of tech since they might have what you seek.
