When I first saw this trailer the other day, I honestly had no idea that there was a game called “Detective Pikachu” but that is based on my not really being a gamer and barely knowing what anything Pokemon is. Hey it happens and as you readers of this and the PiercingMetal.com website know, I do tend to have my Geek Card filled with comics and toy stuff for that site. Since I wasn’t sure if I should share the trailer and stuff going forward over there, its being presented on “The Chronicles” so let’s take a look at the first official trailer for this Warner Brothers Pictures film.

The Premise: In the Pokémon universe, Tim Goodman is a former Pokémon Trainer and the son of prominent detective Harry Goodman. Chasing clues through the streets of Ryme City, the dynamic duo soon discover a devious plot that poses a threat to the Pokémon universe.

Piercing Ken Thoughts: It’s too early for me to determine whether or not I am seeing this one in the theaters and at the time of this writing all I can say is that this looks like a whole lot of weird fun. I really enjoy Ryan Reynolds based on his work in “Deadpool” and feel that this one could be interesting. The Pokemon world is pretty popular so let’s see what happens as time goes on and if the fanbase of this kind of stuff stands behind it. What did you think about this clip? Are you remotely curious? Chime in down below in the comments since that is what they are there for. Until next time.
