Tonight: “Justified: City Primevil” on FX Network (7/18/2023)

As I mentioned in the post that featured the Official Trailer (seen HERE ICYMI), its been just about eight years since the television world last saw Raylan Givens in action. Givens is the star of the novels by Elmore Leonard that was featured in the very popular series “Justified” which ran for a number of years. Now he is back in “Justified: City Primevil” which premieres tonight on the FX Network and then will be streaming on the Hulu Network as well for good measure. Will you be watching? The Premise: Raylan Givens left Kentucky for Miami, where he continues working as a U.S. Marshal while helping raise his daughter. He soon finds himself in Detroit, pursuing The Oklahoma Wildman, Clement Mansell, who has been eluding the Detroit police force.

Now Streaming: “Vikings: Valhalla” on Netflix (2/25/2022)

The History Channel’s original series “Vikings” was well-received by many who appreciated the Scandinavian culture and when they announced its finale a lot of those fans were greatly disappointed. Netflix saved the day by offering up a continuation of the story with their series “Vikings: Valhalla” and I’ve discussed it already with the trailer post found HERE in case you missed that. Now, the series in full is available on the streaming service so here is another look at the Official Poster along with the premise and casting. Enjoy.

The Premise:
Set one hundred years after the events of Vikings, as tensions between the Vikings and the English royals reach a bloody breaking point and as the Vikings themselves clash over their conflicting Christian and Pagan beliefs. Leif Erikson, Freydís Eiríksdóttir and Harald Hardrada begin an epic journey that will take them across oceans and through battlefields, from Kattegat to England and beyond, as they fight for survival and glory. The series shows the end of the Viking Age, marked by Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066.

Now Streaming: “Friends: The Reunion” on HBO Max (5/27/2021)

Last week we used “The Chronicles” to help laud the upcoming celebration of the hit television series “Friends” with the Official Trailer for “Friends: The Reunion” (seen HERE ICYMI). I’m back to announce that the special is available for streaming at the time of this post being published on the HBO Max service so I am hoping that you are a subscriber. If you aren’t you might hate yourself in the morning when your friends are all talking about the series being reflected on by the cast of players who brought Rachel, Phoebe, Monica, Joey, Chandler and Ross to life week after week.
