The Press Release:
Sony Pictures will be the first major studio to host a high-end dual big screen drive-in experience at its studio lot in Culver City. Located in the studio’s Thalberg parking lot, the drive-in will begin its run Friday, August 14 and will showcase several Sony Pictures library titles. In lieu of a traditional premiere, a screening of upcoming romantic comedy — Tristar Pictures/Stage 6 Films’ The Broken Hearts Gallery — will also be hosted in this outdoor space.

Porsche Cars North America will serve as the official automotive sponsor for the drive-in experience where guests will be able to view the latest product offering from the automaker, including its first all-electric sports car, the Taycan, as well as the new Cayenne Coupe.

The Scoop:
The 92nd Oscars have just completed their broadcast and all of the trophies have been handed out in a ceremony that was held at the Dolby® Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center® in Hollywood, and was televised live on ABC from 8 p.m. until just a little while ago. I didn’t watch the play by play stuff as it happened based on all the catching up I was doing here but still made sure to update the master list to have it ready for you to see in case you didn’t watch either. Here we go.

The Premise: In 1969 Los Angeles, a television actor and his stunt double embark on an odyssey to make a name for themselves in the film industry. Featuring a large ensemble cast, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood weaves “multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age.”

Though its not labelled as such, I’m going to assume that this will be what amounts to being the Final Trailer for the upcoming Sony Pictures release of “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood”. If you didn’t see the main Official Trailer just click HERE since they are sometimes different. I know that I am having trouble keeping up with them based on just how busy my Pop Culture features have become here on “The Chronicles”. While this feature has already been shown at Cannes, it opens to the greater masses in one month. Let’s take a look at this newness from director Quentin Tarantino. Hollywood”.
