As we’ve recently shared the teaser trailer for the upcoming “Mary Poppins Returns” and the full-on trailer for “Christopher Robin”, I guess I should not have been surprised to find the first teaser for Disney’s “Dumbo” being released just a short time ago. The film is a new take on the classic character from the animated feature that bears the same name and comes to us care of the imagination of the great Tim Burton. Let’s take a look shall we?
The Premise: Holt was once a circus star, but he went off to war and when he returned it had terribly altered him. Circus owner Max Medici hires him to take care of Dumbo, a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him the laughing stock of the struggling circus troupe. But when Holt’s children discover that Dumbo can fly, silver-tongued entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere, and aerial artist Colette Marchant swoop in to make the little elephant a star. It was just just under three months ago that we first got the teaser trailer for the upcoming Walt Disney Pictures film “Christopher Robin” and now at long last we can enjoy the official full trailer and speak a little bit about it. I’ve even secured the casting, premise and theatrical release poster for you to examine below. Let’s continue.
The Plot: Christopher Robin, the little boy from the Winnie-the-Pooh stories, is now all grown up and has lost all sense of imagination. Pooh and his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood re-enter Christopher’s life to help him find it again.
While I was surprised to find another live-action story based on Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book” but here we are with “Mowgli” which comes care of Warner Brothers and has just released its first trailer. Let’s take a look.
The Premise: The story follows the upbringing of the human child Mowgli raised by a pack of wolves in the jungles of India. As he learns the often-harsh rules of the jungle, under the tutelage of a bear named Baloo and a panther named Bagheera, Mowgli becomes accepted by the animals of the jungle as one of their own, except by one: the fearsome tiger Shere Khan. But there may be greater dangers lurking in the jungle, as Mowgli comes face to face with his human origins. Continue reading Warner Brothers Presents: “Mowgli” Official Trailer (10/2018)→
The film “The Happytime Murders” is a dark comedy that might call to mind some of the madness that we got from “Team America” but while the latter film was all puppets, this one features a human casting along with puppets and it stars Melissa McCarthy. Check out the uncensored trailer below and be sure to send the kids up to do their homework if you are playing this without headphones. It’s really NOT for their ears. Trust me on that.
