When I last discussed the topic of the Walt Disney Studios upcoming motion picture “Mulan” it was to share some of the promotional posters that I had collected from assorted entertainment websites for viewer enjoyment and to spark additional interest in the film. Of course based on the Coronavirus Pandemic, the film would NOT be released and was moved to an at the time unknown release date. All of our existing “Mulan” posts can be examined by clicking HERE. Recently it was announced that the film would be presented on the Disney+ Streaming Service and as result a brand-new trailer was just released. I’ve embedded the trailer down below for you to digest along with the premise, casting and the Official “Theatrical” poster.

As you all are probably aware by now, Broadway is on hiatus for the time-being based on the effects of the still in progress Coronavirus Pandemic. Recent reports say that its likely not to return until Winter when the year turns over but some even have pushed this as far as Spring 2021. One of the hottest plays currently on the stage is Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Hamilton”. The play has been a blockbuster since opening and has won “11” Tony Awards. It was set to open in theaters everywhere sometime in 2021 but with the virus causing so many shows and events to be cancelled or postponed until indeterminate dates, the decision was made to stream this on Disney+ beginning on July 3rd. The trailer was recently released so let’s check that out along with the premise, casting and the official poster.

Storyline: The real life of one of America’s foremost founding fathers and first Secretary of the Treasury, Alexander Hamilton. Filmed live on Broadway from the Richard Rodgers Theatre with the original Broadway cast.

Synopsis: After the events of the first film, Poppy and Branch discover that they are six other different kinds of Trolls scattered over six different lands, each devoted to a different form of music: Pop, Funk, Classical, Techno, Country and Rock. Their world is about to get a lot bigger, and a whole lot louder, as member of hard-rock royalty, Queen Barb, aided by her father King Thrash, wants to destroy all other kinds of music to let rock reign supreme. With the fate of the world at stake, Poppy and Branch, along with their friends — Smidge, Legsly, Biggie, Satin and Chenille, Cooper, Guy Diamond and Tiny Diamond — set out to visit all the other lands to unify the Trolls in harmony against Barb, who’s looking to upstage them all and turn them into rock zombies.
