We’ve shared a few trailers already from the upcoming STX Entertainment feature “Uglydolls” and at this point for any of that content we want to direct readers to THIS TAG as it will open up anything documented about the film. These trailers were a lot of fun but now its time to share the promotional posters.
The Plot: Moxy and her UglyDoll friends travel to the other side of the mountain where Uglyville nestles and finds the town of Perfection, a place where everyone is perfect. It’s been a couple of weeks since I shared the Final Trailer for the upcoming Warner Animation Group film “Smallfoot” and if you missed our post with that featured, then you are going to want to click HERE since its quite a hoot. With this post I’ll be sharing a number of the character posters that were unveiled as that always seems to help drum up the interest. This is something that I have been doing with all of the superhero films over on my PiercingMetal.com website. Let’s take a look after the Official Theatrical Poster, premise and casting shall we?
Plot: In a twist on legends, Migo is a Yeti who is convinced that the elusive creatures known as “Smallfoot” (humans) really do exist.
The new Warner Brothers Pictures release is “The Meg” and it features a gigantic prehistoric shark known as the “Carcharocles Megalodon” and it opens on Friday. I was going to wait until the “Release” posting to share these posters but when my friend shared a live video to her Facebook stream that showed a really big shark in the waters of Brighton Beach with dozens of swimmers nearby I decided to post them today in advance. Gauging from the fast moving clip the shark did look big and was likely a Great White but the nearby people did seem to get out of the water without incident. That was GOOD thing for sure. So let’s begin with the “Coming Soon” poster that I first shared in the trailer narrative and once the premise of the new film has gone by you can check the rest of them out.
The Premise: Five years ago, expert sea diver and Naval Captain Jonas Taylor encountered an unknown danger in the unexplored recesses of the Mariana Trench that forced him to abort his mission and abandon half his crew. Though the tragic incident earned him a dishonorable discharge, what ultimately cost him his career, his marriage and any semblance of honor was his unsupported and incredulous claims of what caused it – an attack on his vessel by a mammoth, 70-foot sea creature, believed to be extinct for more than a million years. But when a submersible lies sunk and disabled at the bottom of the ocean – carrying his ex-wife among the team onboard – he is the one who gets the call. Whether a shot at redemption or a suicide mission, Jonas must confront his fears and risk his own life and the lives of everyone trapped below on a single question: Could the Carcharodon Megalodon – the largest marine predator that ever existed – still be alive … and on the hunt? (c/o IMDB). Continue reading Sink Your Teeth Into “The Meg” Promotional Posters (Opens Friday)→
