Now Streaming: “Friends: The Reunion” on HBO Max (5/27/2021)

Last week we used “The Chronicles” to help laud the upcoming celebration of the hit television series “Friends” with the Official Trailer for “Friends: The Reunion” (seen HERE ICYMI). I’m back to announce that the special is available for streaming at the time of this post being published on the HBO Max service so I am hoping that you are a subscriber. If you aren’t you might hate yourself in the morning when your friends are all talking about the series being reflected on by the cast of players who brought Rachel, Phoebe, Monica, Joey, Chandler and Ross to life week after week. For ten seasons Rachel, Phoebe, Monica, Joey, Chandler and Ross kept us laughing and even crying occasionally during the blockbuster NBC hit series “Friends”. Now thanks to the fine folks at Warner Brothers Television, the HBO Max service will premiere “Friends: The Reunion” in the coming weeks. Hey Fiends, I’m back with some more scoop on the brand-new film “The Witches” which not only is a more in tune with the book by Roald Dahl, but also arrives on your preferred method of enjoying film and television just before Halloween. How cool is that? I discussed the trailer HERE if you missed it and now to move it along, please review the poster, premise and casting. Warner Brothers Pictures: “The Witches” Official Trailer

In 1990, the world saw an adaptation of the 1983 novel by Roald Dahl entitled “The Witches” and it was a quirky fun ride into some supernatural spookiness. Now, in 2020, we are receiving a somewhat closer to the original novel reimagining starring Anne Hathaway as the High Witch. The first official trailer was just released and you can enjoy it down below.

The Premise: Set in 1960s Alabama, an orphaned young boy stumbles across a conference of witches, while staying with his grandmother at a hotel, and gets transformed into a mouse by the Grand High Witch.
