Illumination Presents: “Minions: The Rise of Gru” Official Trailer

Everybody loves The Minions and their misadventures have been entertaining fans around the world since their first appearance in “Despicable Me”. This summer, they are out on their own in a new film from Illumination called “Minions: The Rise Of Gru”. The first trailer was just released so let’s enjoy that, the premise and the star-studded voice cast.

The Premise:
A continuation of the 2015 film, this time in the heart of the 1970s, a twelve year old Felonius Gru is growing up in the suburbs. A fanboy of a supervillain supergroup known as the Vicious 6, Gru hatches a plan to become evil enough to join them. When the Vicious 6 fire their leader, legendary fighter Wild Knuckles, Gru interviews to become their newest member. It does not go well, and only gets worse after Gru steals from them and suddenly finds himself the mortal enemy of the apex of evil. On the run, Gru will turn to an unlikely source for guidance, Wild Knuckles himself, and discover that even bad guys need a little help from their friends.

Now Playing: “Aquaman” in Theaters Everywhere (12/21/2018)

Superhero fans around the world will be able to give themselves an early Christmas present (or a late Hanukkah present depending on which you follow) based on the opening of the film “Aquaman” which continues Warner Brothers Pictures “DC Extended Universe”. I’ve discussed the film a few times over on the PiercingMetal website in terms of the Final Trailer (seen HERE) and some awesome Promotional Posters (seen HERE).
