Fans of the “Charlie’s Angels” TV Series and Film Franchise will be excited to know that the latest film opens today in theaters everywhere. Take a look down below at the Official Theatrical Poster, premise and ensemble casting.
The Premise: Charlie’s Angels have always provided security and investigative skills to private clients. Now the Townsend Agency has expanded internationally with the smartest and most highly trained women from all over the globe — multiple teams of Angels guided by multiple Bosleys, completing the toughest missions around the world. When a young systems engineer blows the whistle on a dangerous technology, these Angels are called into action, putting their lives on the line to protect people. Today is the day my friends as its time for us to go higher, further and faster with the mighty Captain Marvel who makes her grand debut as a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the very first time. The film is opening up today in theaters everywhere but first let’s revisit some of the posts that were done in support of the release over on the PiercingMetal.com website. Last month, Marvel Comics unleashed a crop of one dollar comics, their “True Believers” line which all featured her and you might still be able to get most of them if you ask your local retailer about them. Make a checklist from the post found HERE. I also showcased some Promotional Posters and a Special Look Trailer so click those italicized words to see the posts. Below you will find the Official Theatrical Poster, premise and casting. I’ve spiced it up by adding some other posters as well before my closing thoughts.
The Premise: Set in the mid-1990s, Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers, a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, as she turns into one of the galaxy’s mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team, before returning home with new questions about her past and identity when the Earth is caught in the center of an intergalactic conflict between two alien worlds. Superhero fans around the world will be able to give themselves an early Christmas present (or a late Hanukkah present depending on which you follow) based on the opening of the film “Aquaman” which continues Warner Brothers Pictures “DC Extended Universe”. I’ve discussed the film a few times over on the PiercingMetal website in terms of the Final Trailer (seen HERE) and some awesome Promotional Posters (seen HERE). Let’s reflect on the Theatrical Poster, Premise and Ensemble Cast down below before I close out with some editorial.
It was pretty exciting news to learn that the second trailer for the upcoming Marvel Studio film “Captain Marvel” was going to air last night during the football game but I didn’t watch it there since I don’t follow any of that stuff at all. I closely monitored the YouTube channels and now, without any further adieu, here is the latest trailer for Marvel’s “Captain Marvel”…..hold onto your hats!

Piercing Ken Thoughts: I’m just going to repeat what I said on the same post that lives on PiercingMetal.com since I obviously feel the same way on this side of the creative coin. With the first trailer I had said “Oh Marvel Studios it sure looks like you have done it again” and wow does this second trailer exceed all the expectations that I had from the first one. This looks like its going to blow our minds and do that necessary expanding of the Cosmic Universe in the MCU. Don’t even get me started on that amazing theatrical poster that led you into our closing editorial ramblings. Such color, such powerful visuals…..PSYCHED! Now that we are in December, this film will be here before you know it but of course still comes after the other action films we’ve recently been discussing like “Mortal Engines”, “Bumblebee”, “Aquaman” and that weirdness they are calling “Once Upon A Deadpool” (which is the PG cut of “Deadpool 2”). Clearly, 2019 is going to kick some serious cinema behind and now the countdown begins for the forthcoming trailer for “Godzilla: King Of The Monsters” and “Avengers 4” (which still has no title). What did you readers think about the latest trailer? Do you love it or do you love it? Chime in down below in the comments and I shall see you next time.
As readers of “The Chronicles” Lifestyle and Entertainment Blog know, I’ve been adding a LOT of film and television content to the site over the last few months and while I tend to do that on PiercingMetal.com as well, the focus there is with the superhero and monster or science fiction related releases. That said, there are times when I must repeat myself on “The Chronicles” and with that being said let’s copy and paste our narrative about this brand new trailer.
“I’ve been waiting with baited breath since this past Sunday when I learned that we would get the first official trailer for the upcoming Walt Disney Studios/Marvel Studios motion picture “Captain Marvel”. Just a short time ago, the trailer was revealed on the “Good Morning America” program on ABC and now I am sharing it with you all. Let’s take a look. I’ve also loaded in some casting and premise for good measure”.
