The winners are in for the 24th Annual Critics Choice Awards and while we didn’t get to watch the broadcast and see the prizes doled out; I wanted to be sure to include the rundown for those who also missed it and have been enjoying our regular shares of the assorted awards shows. Full Winners Of 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards

Last night, the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards were handed out for excellence in television and film for the previous year (in this case 2018). The program was hosted by Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh and while we couldn’t tune in based on covering a rousing Heavy Metal show for the PiercingMetal.com side of the fence, I present to you the full list of nominees and who won out at the end of the day. Warner Brothers Presents: “Mowgli” Official Trailer (10/2018)

While I was surprised to find another live-action story based on Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book” but here we are with “Mowgli” which comes care of Warner Brothers and has just released its first trailer. Let’s take a look.

The Premise: The story follows the upbringing of the human child Mowgli raised by a pack of wolves in the jungles of India. As he learns the often-harsh rules of the jungle, under the tutelage of a bear named Baloo and a panther named Bagheera, Mowgli becomes accepted by the animals of the jungle as one of their own, except by one: the fearsome tiger Shere Khan. But there may be greater dangers lurking in the jungle, as Mowgli comes face to face with his human origins.
