The hot sauce fanatics of our Media Metropolis were looking forward to this years event for sure and I was happy to participate this past weekend. I signed myself up for the Saturday session of the NYC Hot Sauce Expo and was stoked as all heck to be a part of its 7th Annual Expo and to catch up with friends that I only manage to see here. Based on the need to try the samples with one hand, I decided to mostly phone photo this presentation and I am only going to talk every now and again so I hope you enjoy it all. Here we go.
I’m going to stop here with my exploration of the NYCHSE but stay tuned for some more once the fire that is inside me has subsided. I had such a good time today and cannot wait to share some more with you. To make sure that you remain in the know, I’ve culled together a number of links to the vendors discussed in this chapter so please do click through to their websites. You’ll learn what else they have and where to purchase it all. Remember that “The Chronicles Of Piercing Ken” is very active on the social networks and will be sharing a number of visuals and thoughts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram so be sure to follow us. See you soon.
It seems like only yesterday that we were heading over to Williamsburg for the 1st Annual NYC Hot Sauce Expo which was a brand-new event started by our friends over at High River Sauces. That was six years ago and while the first couple of events were discussed on my PiercingMetal.com website, I’ve been keeping them here as a part of the Lifestyle vibe that you get with “The Chronicles” for the last few years.
With this being the sixth such expo for me, I will admit that its gotten a little tricky in how to deliver the fun to your device of choice so I am just going to walk around and see what I see and snap what I snap. The links at the bottom will take you to a number of vendors and their wares. Let’s go.
Has it been a year already? Well I guess that it has but here we are once again and ready to sear our senses with the findings at the annual NYC Hot Sauce Expo. This is the fifth straight one and if you love that spicy elixir and haven’t paid a visit to the event yet, please click HERE to see the past event overviews. Once again the event would take place at the Brooklyn Expo Center which we like quite a bit. Let’s get right on down to the photos and some awesome vendors.
My train ride to the event today left my brain a little frazzled so I didn’t know how I wanted to begin my exploration. I figured a quick wander first before photos would be a good idea and that makes me begin with some cool offerings at the Hellfire Hot Sauce table. In addition to the incendiary elixirs, they make some awesome accessories and jewelry.
Well hello again my friends and welcome back to the second chapter in my incendiary documentation of the 4th Annual NYC Hot Sauce Expo. I’m going to pick up where I left off with yesterday’s presentation and continue along until our photos run out. Here we go.
Yes my friends it was that time of year again for the NYC Hot Sauce Expo and if you can believe it, we are now at the 4th Annual Expo. It was once again being held at the spacious Brooklyn Expo Center which I love as an event space since its in my way back in history neighborhood of Greenpoint and is not too far from the waterfront which offers attendees a magnificent view of Manhattan. I’ll share some images of that in a post that will follow the Expo coverage. With this year’s convention I’ve decided to offer it up here on The Chronicles because truth be told its more in line with our other adventures for this site. Some of the longer time readers might remember that I covered the first three events over on PiercingMetal.com and those interested in the historical side of the event need only click HERE to see the gamut.
My Foodie Media Mission begins with my running into Purple Pam who is a Rock singer from NYC. She fronts a kickass group called The Flesh Eaters and I’ll try to get some music reviewed on the other site. Here we find Pam pitching her own brand of hot sauce and it sure did have a kick.
Today I was going to start by exploring what was happening in the VIP section before it got too crowded. It’s better to share its awesome offerings without a crowd pushing into you while you hope to get a shot. Oh and I mean one with the camera. This time around of couse. Here are the lovely ladies repping the Stoli Vodka brand.
