Opening: “Incredibles 2” in Theaters Everywhere (6/15/2018)

As a card-carrying fan of the superhero genre along with comic books and the films that come out to showcase them to the world, I was a big fan of Disney’s “The Incredibles” from 2004. The popularity of the film makes me a little surprised that it took until 2018 to deliver a sequel but here we are as the film opens today in theaters everywhere. I showcased the trailer over on PiercingMetal.com and if you didn’t see it yet please click HERE. Below you will find the theatrical poster, premise and casting.

The Plot: Incredibles 2 resumes where The Incredibles ends, with the introduction of the villain The Underminer. The Parr family struggles to maintain normal lives while Helen, as Elastigirl, continues to fight crime and campaign for the return of “supers”; while Bob, also known as Mr. Incredible, stays at home caring for their children Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack, discovering the baby’s secret powers in the process. Also, the Parrs and their ally Frozone find they must battle a new villain, who goes by the name of Screenslaver.

Universal Pictures “The Grinch” Official Trailer 2 (Coming November 2018)

It was about three months ago when I shared the first Official Trailer for the upcoming Universal Pictures/Illumination Entertainment feature “The Grinch” and if you didn’t see that one, please click HERE as I like you to be on the same page with me. Now I’ve mentioned that this originates from the timeless holiday classic by Dr. Suess in “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” and I pretty much watch this every year no matter what and now its time to share this upcoming films second Official Trailer. How about we take a look.

Meanwhile, Cindy Lou Who plans to seek out Santa Claus to thank him for helping her widowed mother every Christmas, but little does she know she is trying to blow the Grinch’s cover.

Disney Presents: “Dumbo” Teaser Trailer (2019)

As we’ve recently shared the teaser trailer for the upcoming “Mary Poppins Returns” and the full-on trailer for “Christopher Robin”, I guess I should not have been surprised to find the first teaser for Disney’s “Dumbo” being released just a short time ago. The film is a new take on the classic character from the animated feature that bears the same name and comes to us care of the imagination of the great Tim Burton. Let’s take a look shall we?

The Premise: Holt was once a circus star, but he went off to war and when he returned it had terribly altered him. Circus owner Max Medici hires him to take care of Dumbo, a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him the laughing stock of the struggling circus troupe. But when Holt’s children discover that Dumbo can fly, silver-tongued entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere, and aerial artist Colette Marchant swoop in to make the little elephant a star.

Exploring The Reading @ The 2018 Book Con

book con logo

Hello there readers it’s nice to see you returning for another convention exploration. I have to say that it’s been a whole lot of busy here at the Media Command HQ with the Book Expo that we attended almost two weeks ago and was documented HERE in case you missed it. Then I headed over to my grandmothers old neighborhood of Greenpoint, Brooklyn to attend the Five Points Festival for PiercingMetal.com and you can see that by clicking its name. I was back that day after, the Sunday for the Book Con but had to hold off on the narrative based on my wrangling one of the “final” shows by the legendary Thrash Metal titans Slayer. That report will hit PiercingMetal as well of course and now its time to share the coolness and the faces we met at the 2018 Book Con.
