Opening: “Ant-Man & The Wasp” in Theaters Everywhere (7/6/2018)

Hey readers, I hope you had an enjoyable Fourth Of July weekend. Now that the holiday weekend is past us, its time to get small again and I mean down to Ant-Man size as the sequel to his film opens today with “Ant-Man and The Wasp”. As you might already know, he was not a part of the recent “Avengers: Infinity War” which means that film took place AFTER the events that we shall be enjoying in this feature. Let’s get a look at the theatrical release poster, premise and casting to gear you up and in case you missed them on the racks, its still probably possible to get your hands on the issues of the “Ant-Man and The Wasp” themed True Believers comics from Marvel. Just ask your local retailer about them and use THIS POST as a guideline.

The Premise:
Set after the events of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang tries to balance his home life as a father with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, when Hope van Dyne and Hank Pym present him with a new mission to bring to light secrets from their past, requiring him to team up with van Dyne as the new Wasp.

The Cast/Characters:
Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man
Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne/Wasp
Michael Peña as Luis
Walton Goggins as Sonny Burch
Bobby Cannavale as Paxton
Judy Greer as Maggie
Tip “T.I.” Harris as Dave

Piercing Ken Thoughts: So in addition to the holiday stuff being over, the schools are out as well which means I am NOT going to see this right away. As I like to cobble together thoughts about these films for our Movie Review content pieces, its better to not have a few hundred people around me. I am excited for it though since it looks so damned fun. I am sure that it will do well, but not pull in “Avengers: Infinity War” numbers which at the last check had brought in just under $2.1 billion dollars. What about you readers? Are you seeing this one early? Chime in down below in the comments section if you are but as always NO SPOILERS. We no like those at all. (yes I did write the exact same thing on the PiercingMetal.com website, that will happen at times).
