Hello my friends, I am leading you into the holiday celebrations with the news that the Netflix Original feature “The Christmas Chronicles 2” will be available for streaming at the time that you are reading this post. I’ve already shared the films Official Trailer so click HERE if you didn’t see it. This fun film stars Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn as Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
The Story: It’s been two years since siblings Kate and Teddy Pierce saved Christmas, and a lot has changed. Kate, now a cynical teenager, is reluctantly spending Christmas in Cancun with her mom’s new boyfriend and his son Jack. Unwilling to accept this new version of her family, Kate decides to run away. But when a mysterious, magical troublemaker named Belsnickel threatens to destroy the North Pole and end Christmas for good, Kate and Jack are unexpectedly pulled into a new adventure with Santa Claus.

Piercing Ken Thoughts: Since the time of the trailer post I had hoped to be able to sit and watch the first film but I didn’t manage to get around to it so that means I will NOT be watching this sequel just yet. Honestly its still a bit too early for me to watch Christmas films. What about you readers? Are you psyched for this one? A lot of my friends and your fellow readers are BIG Kurt Russell fans and he does seem to make a good Santa. I think they should do a superhero Santa film with him in the role. It would be a call back to the pretty campy and super cheesy film “Santa Claus Conquers The Martians”. Don’t’ look that one up because its pretty yikes. Okay, that’s all I have to say about this one.
