We’ve talked about the live action film featuring the famous Dora The Explorer who people with kids or siblings of a certain age are very familiar with by sharing the Official Trailer. This Paramount Pictures film opens today in theaters across the country so let’s review the Official Poster, Premise and Casting once more.
Synopsis: Having spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents nothing could prepare Dora for the most dangerous adventure ever – high school. Always the explorer, Dora quickly finds herself leading Boots (her best friend, a monkey), Diego, and a rag tag group of teens on an adventure to save her parents and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost Inca civilization. Piercing Ken Thoughts: In my trailer post I mentioned how this looked on the charming side but since I don’t have kids of my own or younger brothers and sisters I don’t need to be lining up for this one during the early run. I’ll probably watch it when it hits the networks I pay for to give myself a wholesome flick that doesn’t feature tons of superheroes or monsters. It might be a nice change of pace for me.
