As you know, we post a LOT of film content here on “The Chronicles” and sometimes I will defer you to my PiercingMetal.com website while at other times will do the same post. Today we use the same post with a little creative editing because this kind of film is just too good for web traffic which is always something we want happening. Here we go with the thoughts that I ran over there a short time ago. Good morning my friends, as you read this, the recently opened “Captain Marvel” film has achieved a worldwide box office take of $524 million dollars. As you know, the character is going to be a pivotal component in the next chapter which happens during “Avengers: Endgame” which makes me stoked to have found a brand-new trailer being revealed only minutes ago. Let’s take a look but put the coffee down before you watch. Trust me. After this you can enjoy the expansive cast, revealed premise and the Official Theatrical poster.
The Premise: Following the events of Avengers: Infinity War, with half of the universe killed in an event dubbed “The Decimation”, the universe lies in shambles and the remaining Avengers and their allies must reassemble to repair the damage caused by Thanos and bring harmony back to the universe. Piercing Ken Thoughts: This is the same thing that I typed on PiercingMetal BTW – Whew! Someone hand me a cold cloth for my forehead because I am sweating bullets now in anticipation of this sure to be grandiose epic. There is a little bit of everything in this one and of course we’ve been reading how none of the released footage will be past the films first fifteen minutes. With the events that happened in “Avengers: Infinity War”, there is just too great a risk of plot being spoiled. I just saw “Captain Marvel” and greatly enjoyed it so I hope you get to this one soon because you’re going to want to be up to speed on this powerful addition to the ranks. One has to wonder if another trailer will come before the films April 26th opening (that’s right, its even opening earlier than it was originally scheduled to and that is awesome).
