While we don’t really try to get political here on The Chronicles, we do periodically like to raise awareness and spark people into action. With that being said, the NYC Mayoral Election is on today’s voter agenda and with Bill DeBlasio, Nicole Malliotakis and Bo Dietle all aiming at the prize, its very important that readers in our fair city get out to the polls today. These visuals were all snagged with my Note 4 mobile from my time doing the process. No, I did not showcase my picks to be objective and not influence your decisions.

It’s also important to vote for the other nominees that are listed and information about them can be easily found in the voting guide. Sadly I neglected to photograph that but will do it the next time around if we are still sharing this kind of posts with the readership.

On the rear of the ballot there are several proposals, and its always important to know what these are to help them along. This year there was one in particular that had a lot of people concerned. I made sure to choose the best option that I felt was fair to those involved.

After you’ve done the filling in the respective blanks, you walk over to these machines that scan your vote in. I didn’t want to try and take a photograph of it since I don’t think that they allow this. Maybe if I can secure one of the NYPD Official Press passes for city events it will be easier but who knows if I will pursue that for little visuals like this. Once you have performed your Civic Duty you get this nifty little sticker to wear on your jacket or even post on Social Networking (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.). I made sure to add mine to Instagram which also went over to Facebook based on my application settings.

Fortunately, I was able to get this second sticker which celebrates the 100th Anniversary of Women’s Right To Vote.

UPDATE: It’s a little after 9PM and sadly we must share the news that Bill DeBlasio has won a second term as the Mayor Of NYC. I’m feeling so bad for our city right now and cannot believe that this phony has won once again. Truth me told, in the debates Bo sounded like a raving madman while Nicole failed to generate any positive support. With Billy at the helm once more its going to be a whole lot of empty promises once more for sure. Let’s keep vigilant on his inaction so his term goes as fast as possible. That’s all I can get out right now. Sigh.
