Industry Leaders to Headline Trade Day Keynote at New York Times Travel Show

Back in November, I pointed out that the tickets for the NY Times Travel Show were available (HERE) and then I shared the news that Dubai Tourism was the sponsor for the 2020 Expo (discussed in full HERE). Now its time to hear about some of the keynote speakers who will be in attendance.

The 2020 New York Times Travel Show invites travel industry professionals to join its Trade Day on Friday, January 24, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, for its Travel Industry Conference and exclusive trade-only viewing of more than 750 exhibiting companies in the Exhibition. Travel professionals may register for the Trade Day here.

Now in its 17th year, the Travel Show will open with a Trade Day (January 24) exclusively for over 11,000 travel industry professionals and media. Saturday, January 25 and Sunday, January 26 are the Travel Show’s Consumer Days, opening to over 23,000 consumer travelers, as well as to travel professionals and media. The three-day showcase will feature global cuisine tastings, cultural performances, travel book signings, one-on-one conversations with travel experts and special discounts and offers for consumers of all ages from over 750 exhibitors. This year’s Show is supported by Presenting Sponsor Dubai Tourism, in association with Expo 2020 Dubai.

The Travel Industry Conference will offer a comprehensive educational program designed for travel professionals and features over 27 Focus Conferences and 4 Business Series seminars across diverse travel categories.

The day will begin with a pre-General Session Address from Presenting Sponsor Expo 2020 Dubai and an Opening General Session presentation by Chris Davidson, Executive Vice President, Insights Strategy, MMGY Global. Later, James Shillinglaw, veteran travel editor and editor-in-chief of Insider Travel Report, will moderate a keynote panel on the state of the travel industry.
