Hey there my friends, it seems as though we’ve arrived at the time of the nominations for the coveted MTV VMA (which is the Video Music Awards for those not in the aware). The show will air in late August and take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. I don’t follow the network and most of these artists based on my own musical interests but I am always happy to share these kinds of awards to our readership since their own interests do not always reflect my own. *** end of list ***

Piercing Ken Thoughts: It might not surprise you when I say that I have absolutely no background in any of the videos from the performers who have all been nominated for this year’s award. Speaking frankly, I haven’t even tuned in to the channel for the longest of times. I detest the Reality Shows they constantly broadcast and I always seem to forget to program “Headbanger’s Ball” into my DVR. Truth be told when I want Metal videos I just peruse YouTube since the selection is much more diverse but I digress. In reviewing the list I wonder if any of your favorites have been nominated or have ones you felt should be been left off? You can chime in with that information down in the comments because it will help this be more interesting. See you next time.
