Coming Soon: “Marvel Universe Live: Age Of Heroes” Live Action Show

If you’ve ever perused our Comic Book posts over on PiercingMetal.com you know that we are diehard supporters of the medium and its myriad of colorful characters. Among our favorites in the medium is the Marvel Universe and that makes sharing the information on this cool live action adventure show all the more awesome. Read on.

About The Show:
Prepare for an action-packed, legendary battle to defend the universe from evil. Spider-Man, the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy join forces with Doctor Strange, master of the mystic arts, in a race against time to recover the Wand of Watoomb before it falls into Loki’s hands.

This ancient artifact holds immeasurable mystical power and would allow Loki to achieve his eternal quest to crown himself ruler of Asgard and Earth. Marvel’s Mightiest Super Heroes – Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Panther, Hulk, Black Widow and The Guardians Of The Galaxy. Unite to defeat Loki in his quest to gain control of the Wand of Watoomb.

Along the way, the greatest Super Heroes of the Marvel Universe face off against some of the most threatening villains. Loki, Nebula, Yondu, Electro, Green Goblin, Rhino, Black Cat and more. This epic journey will spark new feuds with old foes, pitting student against mentor, sister against sister and brother against brother.

Piercing Ken Thoughts: While this one seems to be geared for the younger generation, it sure sounds like its going to be loaded with fun for the whole family. What I am hoping that comes from this live action adventure is that it sparks that generation to look into the superheroes more in comic book form and on film. I don’t think I will be attending for any sort of press purposes, but we shall surely list it on the events calendar for those who want to bring the family out. According to my research, the show will be presented at the Barclays Center, NYCB Live (or the Nassau Coliseum) and The Prudential Center. As we noticed with family focused events like this, there are likely to be two if not three performances each day. You’ll need a ticket for each of the shows if you choose to repeat the fun. Since it’s the same event over and over I don’t think you’d want to do that but that’s just me. If you go, let us know how it was. Right now, I am preparing for the Lego Live NYC event and American International Toy Fair over at the Javits Center. It’s going to be a wild and adventurous time for sure. Follow our Social Nets to be a part of the activities as you know we love you coming along when possible.
