Hey there my fans of all things toy and game related I am back with a second chapter for the 2019 Toy Insider “Sweet Suite”. I told you that I was coming back in case you didn’t believe me and if you didn’t see that first chapter, just click HERE to open up a new tab with anything related to this experience. Now let’s pick up where we left off and please know that I will be making this one more of a photo narrative than a chit chatty one. I do that sometimes. Let’s play.
Greetings my friends, and welcome to some overview from an event that I have come to look forward to each and every year for the last few years. I’m talking about non other than The Toy Insider’s “Sweet Suite”, which is a toy industry expert curated happening that showcases some amazing companies and their upcoming awesome. With The Toy Insider launching a very geek-centric outlet called “The Pop Insider”, I decided to post more of the collector stuff over on PiercingMetal which you can observer by clicking HERE.

Hello my friends and let me begin this one by asking how the summer has been treating you. So far it’s not been too super hot but as you know, its still only the tail end of June and July and August are often finding us seeking shelter from the heat. I’m just back from visiting my family and catching up with as much of the second day of the Specialty Food Organization’s “Summer Fancy Food Show”. This is my third year attending as a member of the press and its a treat to share some delicious finds with the readers of this lifestyle website. Let’s get moving. I will chime in as needed as the narrative plays along.
That’s going to bring me to the end of this first installment but don’t you worry there is more to enjoy for sure. You might want to bide the time by clicking through to some of the websites that are linked below to learn more about the companies in this chapter. You’re also going to want to be on point with our assorted social networking profiles because I tend to use them a lot during the conventions before I get to website posts and I don’t want you to miss a trick. The Press Release:
On Sunday, Vevo confirmed that Taylor Swift’s “ME!” had broken the record for most views in 24 hours. Today, Vevo can confirm that “ME!” is now the fastest video to reach 100 million views.
The video for “ME!” featuring Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco eclipses records formerly set by Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next” and Taylor’s very own “Look What you Made Me Do.” This feat was managed in 79 hours following the release of the video on Friday, April 26th.
JP Evangelista, Vevo SVP of Content, Programing & Marketing said, “Taylor has consistently demonstrated the ability to break records on Vevo. She continues to expand upon a deep history of incredibly striking audio-visual work. Likewise, director Dave Meyers continues a storied career as one of the premier music video directors in our industry. On behalf of the Vevo family, we congratulate Taylor Swift & Republic Records on yet another historic accomplishment.”

Piercing Ken Thoughts: Now despite my not being among the fans of Taylor Swift since I like my music a lot heavier, I have to say that this is an incredible accomplishment for a single video clip. YouTube is one of the hardest places to build up a following these days but it doesn’t surprise me when it comes to Taylor because she works really hard on her craft and has a bankroll to bring in the most talented people in the industry to get things done. I did enjoy the clever playfulness and special effects in this clip and wish that I had the budget to do magnificent things with my own two channels for “The Chronicles” and PiercingMetal but alas – I don’t. What did you think about this clip and the milestone? Please feel free to chime in down below in the comments section. See you again soon.

Hey friends, so as I’ve previously announced, I was going to be exploring the vast wonders that is the Tribeca Film Festival and while there are a ton of interesting films to check out, there are a score of other things to examine. One of them was this “Game Of Thrones” centric VR experience called “The Dead Must Die”. Take a look at the description and some images that my friend Dani from Royal Flush took when I was giving it a once over.
About The Experience: The VR encounter is called ““The Dead Must Die: A Magic Leap Encounter” and its a collaboration between the folks at Magic Leap and HBO. It’s an “immersive encounter” that uses a device called the Magic Leap One headset. Wearing this will bring the wearer into a “confrontation” with the wights themselves and it all culminates with a showdown with a White Walker.
