Before I begin this one, I am going to let you know that I will occasionally be mirroring the same post that will be broadcast over on PiercingMetal when it comes to the Marvel Studios and Warner Brothers hero stuff. Here we go with one such post. I’ve been on a bit of a social media and Internet silence since the opening of “Avengers: Infinity War” because I didn’t want any of the film spoiled on me but as you are reading this, I am just now home from seeing it and all I can say is “HOLY WOWZAWOW”. It was awesome, but its rather long. You must go to see it ASAP because so many people are talking about it and I don’t want anyone to miss key points. This film has already made over $725 million dollars and it only opened last Friday. As I returned to my home I was overjoyed to learn that the latest trailer for the upcoming “Ant Man and The Wasp” film was available to share with you so here we go.
Despite things being a bit of a mess with the live-action DC Extended Universe, the folks at Warner Brothers Animation do a stand up job at delivering some really great animated features. We’ve gotten some killer stuff like “Justice League: Flashpoint”, “Batman: Gotham By Gaslight” and even the more recent “Batman Ninja” and now its time for “Teen Titans GO! To The Movies” which is uhm, err……something quite different entirely. Check out the full trailer for this film that just hit yesterday.
The Teen Titans learn that almost every hero in the DC Universe has their own films, ranging from Batman and Superman, to characters like Aquaman and Alfred! That said, they search for a director for their movie. But the Hollywood director Jade Wilson rejects their offer due to the fact that because of their recent actions over the past few years the Teen Titans can no longer be taken seriously. However, they find a window of opportunity for their own movie by having their own nemesis in the form of Slade, who plans to mind control the entire Justice League and take over the world.
It’s here, it’s FINALLY HERE!!!! Yes my comic book movie loving friends, “Avengers: Infinity War” opens today in theaters across the country and I am nothing less than shaking with the amount of psyched that I have in my system. As you longer termed readers know, we’ve been supporting this side of the media fence for a number of years now and are so glad to be rallying behind these kinds of films. Let’s take a look at the fantastic theatrical poster, some premise reminder and the massive cast.
The Premise: As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain. (thanks Wiki). There doesn’t seem to be a shortage of animated features to enjoy with the younger members of your family circle, or even by yourself if you are feeling young at heart. The first full official trailer for the Warner Animation Group’s “Smallfoot” recently came to light and I am sharing this along with the premise, casting and “coming soon” poster. Enjoy.
Though we are still about a week away from the opening of “Avengers: Infinity War”, the excitement is also building up for the next installment in the Jurassic World franchise with the film “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” and this summary is here to let you know that the third and final trailer has been released. Let’s check that out along with some reminder premise and casting.
The Plot: A volcanic eruption threatens the remaining dinosaurs on the island of Isla Nublar, where the creatures have freely roamed for several years after the demise of an animal theme park known as Jurassic World. Claire Dearing, the former park manager, has now founded the Dinosaur Protection Group, an organization dedicated to protecting the dinosaurs. To help with her cause, Claire has recruited Owen Grady, a former dinosaur trainer who worked at the park, to prevent the extinction of the dinosaurs…again. (thanks Wiki).
