Scenes From “Blogger Bash” 2016; Chapter 2

Hello again my friends and welcome back to my presentation from the 2016 “Blogger Bash”. This was my first go at the conference and was so far a very interesting experience. If you didn’t see Chapter 1 just click on THIS LINK to rectify that as there is no rush in reading any of these posts. I thought that I would end up with three unique posts from the event but as it turns out this will be the final installment. Take your time, stay awhile.

The folks at the Speck Products table had some cool cases for the iPhone but I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 so this doesn’t help me. A shame since I would have sported one of their wares immediately had they been able to provide one.

The reps from Sony Playstation were in attendance at Blogger Bash and showcasing off the new system and a few interesting games. I tried to convince them to let me go home with one of the systems so “they didn’t have to lug it all the way back” but they were not buying it. I also tried to plead my case saying I have an old broken down PS3 but that didn’t seem to work either. Oh yeah by the way, my PS3 still works fine and is in excellent shape. I will not argue with a replacement though should one of you readers feel like donating one our way ;p

This is the setup for the folks at “Safe Bee”, a consumer awareness group. Yes I was able to get one of the stuffed bees. How could I resist.

One of the special features of this years Blogger Bash was a “Shop Ireland” expo area.  They locked a room out for all vendors from the Emerald Isle and let the influencers peruse the product lines and speak to their representatives.  There was even a station serving up Irish coffee but since I was NOT drinking at the moment, it was just a soda for me.  Scattered around the tables were these place cards and little shamrock patches and Irish flag pins (the pins are not pictured though – my bad).

My first stop in the Irish section would be at the “Irish Fairy Door Company” table. This is a wonderful idea for the younger children in your household or close circle. It lets them connect with their imagination and their link at the narrative close will fill you in a whole lot better than I can.

“Lottie” is a series of dolls for children and they are very highly stylized and come wearing real cloth outfits that bear some high level of quality. This is not only for children but even a high recommendation for any doll collectors that you might know.

This was interesting and is called “ARCKIT” – This is a modelling system that lets you build miniature structures to a smaller scale of what they would be in real life.  Quite a different modelling kit from what you see going on at Lego but designed for those with similar building skills and interest.

Now for some Media Moments for good measure.  Here is Toy Insider’s own Marissa D.  Awesome person and such a grasp on the toy trends and what’s coming at your household in the future.

This is Erica Fox and I, and she is a Lifestyle Blogger who runs the “Retroflame Blog”.  Don’t worry, a link will be at the close for you to check out and follow all of her adventures on.

This lass is Kirsten Zellers and she maintains a DIY Style and Beauty Blog.  Yes you can find her link below as well.

After the conference wrapped up and the company representatives packed up their wares and disembarked from the boat, it was time to set out onto the Hudson on this beautiful craft.  At first it didn’t seem like this was possible because one of the worst thunderstorms I had seen in awhile decided to pay NYC a visit.  This is out of one of the ships portal windows and to say this rain was teeming would be an understatement.

Fortunately the rain did decide to stop and the boat left the dock. Our destination was headed to just past the Statue Of Liberty and back so I snapped some photos and enjoyed nice chats with those around me. I’ll keep the commentary to a minimum now and let you appreciate our marvelous and beautiful Big Apple.

So that is all he wrote about the matter. I hope that you enjoyed this latest adventure into the “Blogger Bash” territory. I admit that I didn’t take as many photos as I might have liked for this one, but if I should be permitted to come along next year I will up my game for this conference. Remember that there is stuff posted to our OFFICIAL INSTAGRAM so click that text to be brought to the “PiercingKen” profile. According to what I’ve learned from the Influencers, all of the follows, likes and comments will help raise the awareness to this profile and brand and maybe even find me becoming one of their number. Stranger things have happened 🙂 Also its very important to explore the links to the companies and folks listed below to show some love. They might have the answers that you are seeking with new product purchases.
