Hey Readers it’s once again that time of year where I share a number of Halloween visuals that I felt caught my attention enough to grab a photo of and as the mood strikes me I tossed in a comment or three. I love this time of year and am getting this batch of sinister sights to you after seeing the legendary Misfits. Yes that article will be on my PiercingMetal.com site soon so stay tuned. Here we go, and Happy Halloween…..
I’ve always felt that the Nutcracker Suite needed to be a little creepier. What do you think?
Since there were some grave doings at one of the local shops I decided to add a little focus on what I saw. These tombstones all looked nice.
Do you need a hand? Then please make no bones about it if you do (ouch).
It seems that Disney is getting their spook on with this sinister display of Mickey Mouse horror stuff. There was also another but I neglected to get a shot of it. I apologize.
I just loved these big silver skulls but they were too bulky for my horror needs so I left them on the shelf. These are glass and painted silver, not plastic in case anyone wondered.
“Beware” that was pretty straightforward don’t you think?
I’ll just say that I wanted all of these masks. Any one of them would have been great at The Misfits show last night. I just went as myself.
Perhaps this plain ole pumpkin is better suited for Thanksgiving but I let him have his moment in the sun, err the moonlight 🙂
Death goes Snowboarding. A modern day take on “Death Takes A Holiday”.
Of course Frankenstein was not going to let him go by himself and joined into the fun.
Back to work for Death, perusing the aisles of Duane Reade and making sure the proper club card is being used.
It might not be a good idea to scare customers away before they have come into your store but maybe I am wrong.
Oooooh Witchy Woman, see how high she flies….
Next up a few lawn displays that I really liked.
A neighborhood bar gets into the spirit. The true horror is an empty beer mug.
Maybe its a case of PCCSS (which is Post Comic Con Stress Syndrome) but I did like this visual of the Joker and Harley enough to include it
These next ghastly visuals were in The Marlin Room at Webster Hall were I saw a Metal show a couple of weeks ago.
Be prepared to fill the bags of those who come a knocking at your door dressed up to impress.
I think I just used a plastic bag or a small shopping bag back when I did this. Now they have all sorts of cool stuff.
While this is not tonight’s moon at all, I felt it was in the proper spirit of the theme.
Please stay out of dark alleys if at all possible.
Enjoy this spooky day everyone. Save me some candy okay?
